[ Biography ]

Carla Patullo is an American composer and musician based in Los Angeles. She has toured internationally performing with her band White Widow, and with acclaimed musicians such as Liza Minnelli, Rufus Wainwright, and Sandra Bernhard.  She served as musical director for Sandra Bernhard’s I LOVE BEING ME, DON’T YOU album and tour, and has performed at festivals such as the Sundance Film Festival, SXSW, NXNE, and Italy’s Arezzo Wave Festival. In 2012, Carla wrote a concept album titled A PSYCHOLOGICAL THRILLER for an animated film by Brooklyn artists Electric Wonder, which opened her up to a new world of composing music for film.

Carla has scored music for over 30 motion pictures. Her credits include My Name Is Maria De Jesus (HBO), the Sundance award-winning film Spa Night (Netflix), the SXSW horror comedy Porno (Shudder), and the animated documentary Lotte that Silhouette Girl (2018 IDA Shortlist).
